I watched a few seconds of the video, got bored and killed it.
As for the “dying” Turkish Cypriots one can argue that they are evolving into something different from the past, especially their youth, and the danger with that is that the more they differentiate themselves from the Greek Cypriots the worse it can get for them as Cypriots and for the whole of Cyprus even.
I’m quite certain that the “secret” to the Turkish Cypriots surviving the test of time as a people (and when I say this I’m not just talking about 10 years from now) rests entirely on how fast and how well they begin to SWIM WITH THE FLOW.
TCs should remember that they have traveled and lived in many foreign countries around the world and yet they still hold on to their identity so they should NOT fear that by amalgamating with their GC compatriots they’ll start reciting Greek poetry.
Perhaps this thread was a good opportunity for TCs to express their fears in the event of an amalgamation but for some ‘strange’ reason it turned into another mud-slinger!
