Me, Halil, Mustafa (oops, iceman), GR can make it, I am sure the three others I nominated would have no problem, they have done it before.

It seems that all you and Bananiot care about is food!
You get together so you can have a good excuse to eat that's why our meetings lost their meaning... they became food-fests!

As for the “dying” Turkish Cypriots one can argue that they are evolving into something different from the past, especially their youth, and the danger with that is that the more they differentiate themselves from the Greek Cypriots the worse it can get for them as Cypriots and for the whole of Cyprus even.
I’m quite certain that the “secret” to the Turkish Cypriots surviving the test of time as a people (and when I say this I’m not just talking about 10 years from now) rests entirely on how fast and how well they begin to SWIM WITH THE FLOW.
TCs should remember that they have traveled and lived in many foreign countries around the world and yet they still hold on to their identity so they should NOT fear that by amalgamating with their GC compatriots they’ll start reciting Greek poetry.
Perhaps this thread was a good opportunity for TCs to express their fears in the event of an amalgamation but for some ‘strange’ reason it turned into another mud-slinger!
Hi GR. I think this fear of 'losing ones identity' is pure rubbish. It is propaganda spread by TC extremists. I see no danger of this ever happening.
I'm glad you're relaxed about this as I am. All one needs to do is take a look at the tiny Maronite and Armenian communities as examples of this.
GR ,
we are not Maronite or Armanian , we are Turkish Cypriots , since 1878 we didn't lost our idendity and we will not lost it up to end of the world. No one can assimilate us ...... we will be TC's forever. is that clear mate ...... take a notice !!!!!

Isnt that a kind of 'jaw-jaw' rather than 'war-war'? A better way to die, dont you think,GR? There is a limit to repeats after all. Not the same with food.
