After being in Cyprus with our car imported from UK almost two years ago and getting a yellow form stamped in Nicosia each three months, I have at last a letter telling me the yellow form expires at the end of March and to produce documents and get the vehicle properly registered and numberplated.
Trouble is, we shipped it back to UK a couple of weeks ago and it is docking on Friday at Southampton. Not a problem this end, but we think we have made a mistake and would like to send it back again for good and buy a runaround for UK. If we do this, will be be asked for any money on the registration in Cyprus? The vehicle is a UK tax paid Ford Mondeo worth around £4000 here in UK now. It was secondhand when we bought it in UK and had it over a year before coming to Cyprus in July 2006.
