Hi,
this is my first posting in this site. Didn't know it existed - looks great.

Can anybody help me on this?
My previous laptop broke down (a SONY VAIO - great laptop / will be greatly missed ) I want to buy a new one and I'm focusing on ACER ASPIRE. This time I don't want to spend an awful lot of money (around 854 euro / £500) since a paid £1,000 for my Vaio and there are no authorized dealers here in Cyprus!

My question is: Does anybody know who the authorized dealers / representatives for Acer are in Cyprus?

i have a acer aspire 9140 has eerything u need bluetooth wireless built in cam, vista home premiume 2GB ram which model are you thinking of buying?

I am focusing on ACER ASPIRE 5520G-403G25MI (that's a long one!)
15.4 TFT WSXGA CrystalBright
3072MB DDR 2RAM (3 X 1024 MB)
HDD 250GB
Wireless, etc etc
I found it for 888 euro / £519.

I will also check Bionic. They seem to have a variety of notebooks.

I was told that Acers are not a very reliable brand but somebody told me that this particular Acer 5520G is one of the best.

Can you tell me your opinion?
