Leave the poor 'shags' alone. She might catch one and cook it. Otherwise she would not know what to do with it.

It ain't the duty of any int. body to name a airport as illegal or legal. The only reason why GC's claim it is illegal is because they are recognised as the only official gov. on the island. Ercan in a way is still recognised wherever you are in the world on any journey bound to Ercan you always get the ECN airport code straped to your luggage.

And the only airport that would strap that ruish to your luggage would be another Turkish mainland airport. Stop talking nonsense.

Not quite true.......Stansted, Gatwick & Heathrow seem to have loads of these labels.

Eat your heart out you damn idiot. You can shout all you want about Ercan being 'illegal' in the North, but the realities are that hundreds of thousands of visitors are not prevented from travelling there legally. So you can grow up.

 Those visitors must travel via Turkey. Is that not correct? That is bacause in the eyes of the world and ICAO, ERCAN airport is illegal and there is nothing you can do about that. So go and crawl under a rock and wank yourself with all your fairy land fantasies you idiot.

Windsurfing in North Cyprus - you can not go wrong.

Ignore all the scare mongering, it's all bullshit.

Give it a go, you will not be sorry - you might even see the North's perspective to life in Cyprus.

Oracle may be devastated at the thought, but you may find that all shiz scare mongering and crap will be dispelled if you enter North Cyprus and as expected have a memorable and fantastic stay.

We are not scare mongering or trying to prevent anyone from travelling to the north. Anyone can travell to the Occupied areas after entering Cyprus through a legal port of entry in the Unoccupied areas. We are merely advising our friend to enter Cyprus legally just in case she gets into trouble when travelling in the Occupied areas, she would then be able to get Consular representation from their country of origin as all Consulates and Embassies are located in the Unoccupied areas. This is because we all know that there are no consulates or embassies in the so called "TRNC" as it is not recognised by anyone, except by the country that illegally invaded Cyprus in the first place.

So we are merely looking out for Wisler's best interest.

Halil,

I am just merely stating some facts. And yes, I am in favour of peace and I hope it can be achieved not for our sakes but yours, and Turkey's (who is eager to join the EU).

Paphitis,
Most of the world knows the facts in Cyprus. That's why German Greens mp Roth visited Northern part of the island via Ercan airport .

Ms Roth, who arrived in the TRNC from the Ercan Airport together with Ozcan Mutlu and Bilkay Oney - Berlin State Assembly Deputies, was received by TC leader Mehmet Ali Talat, the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Fatma Ekenoglu and Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer respectively.

During the visit, Roth expressed her willingness for reunification and reconciliation in Cyprus and stressed that `Europe is the idea of open borders, not walls`.
Welcoming the decisive policy of the Turkish Cypriot Side towards finding a solution to the Cyprus problem, Roth expressed her willingness for playing the role of a bridge-builder in Cyprus.‘Spring is approaching. We want it not to be a meteorological spring only, but also a political one in Cyprus’ she added.
The Co-Chairperson of the German Greens Party and member of the German Parliament Claudia Roth has stressed that she will continue to maintain her constructive support to efforts aimed at finding a solution to the Cyprus problem.

Describing the effects of the international isolation of the Turkish Cypriot People as ‘touching’, Roth said she will inform her European colleagues on the situation.

`Walls and isolations have no place in the common house of Europe` she stressed.
`We have observed the negative effects of the international isolation on the Turkish Cypriot People in every aspect of their daily lives. This is an important issue both for the solution of the Cyprus problem and the credibility of the European identity as Europe is perceived to be a common house. In a common house, there should be no walls and no one should be isolated` she said.

She also underlined the duty of the European Parliament, European Commission and the European culture in providing support to solution efforts in Cyprus.

Emphasizing that they are against the ongoing division of the island and isolations, Ms Roth said the German nation had the duty to constructively support a political settlement in Cyprus.

Yaa Papities ,
What you are trying to do is : at every platform just you are trying to isolate us or trying to stop the others not the make contacts with Turkish Cypriots . Things are changing ...... Let them to discover the TC people and their livings and society , let the people of the TC's to do business as well and this process will help for peace as well otherwise the gap between 2 sides will be increased everyday.
trust and trust must show and support ....... will lead for peace.

Well Paphitis when I traveled from London, Germany, Turkey , Australia to Cyprus Ercan airport they always straped the IATA "ECN" airport code on my luggage. You can cry as much as you like it doesn't stop around 20 flights using the airport everyday.
