Just take a step back from all the ranting and read through this thread and you will see how pathetic it all is. Cyprus will always have a 'problem' whilst you people just take any slightest chance to bitch at each other.

Well the Admin has not intervened and as far as I know this forum is not yours but for the General Public.

People can judge what is right and what is wrong without your intervention and manipulation.

Ok lets go through your list one by one shall we.

1. Expansionism ( Nothing to do with TC's but anyway )

Turkey has only once expanded it's borders since 1923 when the state of the "Repulic of Turkey" was proclaimed. ( Hatay )

If we look at Greece as an example they invaded the Turkey straight after World war One they also have expanded their borders 8 time since after WW1. Turkey is in Cyprus because of the direct actions of GC's and Greece, Turkey in the Annan Plan had agreed to withdrawal over 98 % of it's troops on the island in a deal to unify cyprus as one state.

2. Head-Scarf

The Turban and the head-scarf are totally different, GC and TC woman wear wear a head-scarf on their heads while doing house chores to keep thier hair clean. THe Turban is a way of concealing your hair and neck completely and is a modern time verison of the "çarşaf" worn by women in places like saudi arabia. Not all woman in Turkey wear them. THe "Turban" is something that started to become apparent in Turkey in the late 70's and is used in a context of mixing politics with religion. There are no similar problms with TC woman, the "Turban" has no place in TC culture. I have NEVER seen a TC woman wearing a TURBAN in my life.

3. Anti-Freedom of speech:

That is a problem in Turkey, I agree with you it is something that has to be worked on in Turkey. But again in Cyprus any TC can say whatever they like without being harassed , again not a problem for us.

I4. gnoring İnt. Law

Well Phoenix have GC's obeyed thier own constitution, their internal law? "NO" . If you are talking about the situation in Cyprus it ain't something to be settled by a court. THe probem is completely political with legal aspects in it.

5. Pretending All is well

Sorry I didn't get this one .

6. Ethnic Cleansing

Well it did happen of course but what has it to do with Culture? Don't forget that GC's were quite good at the game of running TC's out of villages post 74 as well. I don't see this as part of culture!
