How glad you are, ha.
I can almost imagine you disapointment after a few months.

How long will it take for you to see reality, 2, 5, 10, 30 years and accept that your leadership has been and will lead you a merry dance. They have never been sincere in the past but had the Denktas excuse to hide behind now thats gone and the state of play has changed reality kicks in Papadop is playing you guys for fools it is just a matter of time and very much related to your intelligence levels of when you will realise what hes doing, as time passes you will see no progress has been made and that partition looks more and more attractive be it velvet or silk its going to hit home hard.

Well done Mr Papadop hes a winner in my book, keep it up.

Go back to the original thread and answer there to the complete argument not to the ridiculous summary you described above.
Got it, or do I have to repeat it 100 times for you?

Denktash has gone just TODAY 17/4/05. Remember you are the ones who had him for 30 years NOT us!

So, if Papadopoulos is a winner in your book, what is your problem??? You should actually be glad, go home, drink some scotch, smoke some dope and look up at the calendar for the date your daughter will be getting married. What are you doing here, looking for someone to bet with you? Looking for a koumbaro(=Best man) at the wedding? What?

You dont know how right you are life is wonderful (scotch ok but no to dope), plus the groom has already picked the best man a TC of course, all this arguing around in circles is crazy. Mr Papadop will take care of everything for us and provide us with a velvet partition. The only reason I am here is to challenge what I think is right and so far nothing has changed my opinion.

I suggest you all read Papadopoulos's letter to the US ambassador in Nicosia in 1963. In it it says:

"If the Turkish fleet dares to enter Cyprus waters, we have the plan and the means to clean up all the Turkish Cypriots".

Plan= Akritas plan
Means= High school students and paramilitary warlords, ie Lyssarides and Sampson

The tyrrany of words continues. Christofias "revealed" yesterday that the President may be willing to give "chapter titles" to the UN, when asked if our side will give the changes it seeks to the A Plan. A few months ago, Papadopoulos said that those that need to know, know! Since then, those that need to know, have told us on numerous occasions that they are still waiting for our side to give the changes.

In the meantime, the first thing Talat did after the results of the "voting" were made known, was to extend an arm of friendship to Papadopoulos and call for a meeting to discuss the solution. Papadopoulos chose to go on a state visit to the Czech Republic, but AKEL was quick to react and the party's press officer said he wished Talat became his old self, when he sincerely wanted a solution the Cyprob. Of course this kind of statements are merely for internal consumption and have no weight where it matters. The international community which will play a major role in solving the problem, if it is ever solved, knows that the TC side said "yes" to the solution and the GC side said "no" in April 2004. Since then, our government keeps saying that our "no" does not mean denial of a solution. Lets say we manage to convince some people that this is so. How can we convince them, though, that the side that said "yes" does not want a solution?

The situation gets worse. Now we have Talat in front of us. Before it was easy to blame everything on the intransigence of Denktas. Now, we will need devine qualities to perform such an act, that is, to convince anyone that the fault lies solely and squarely on the TC side. In other words, the ball is in our court.

The ball is so firmly in your court and tassos is playing a dangerous game with his liar statements and constant abuse of talat is only proving to the international community how un-european tassos is and that he will be the biggest pain in their arses until he either leave(gets voted out in election etc) or dies, either would be acceptable.
