The Eastern Orthodox are considered Protestants too.

Says who?

Certain factions of Catholics view Orthodox Christians as Protestant because "we" protested the papacy, but because the Eastern Church was not born of the Reformation, technically "we" are not Protestant.

That's funny  The Orthodox church thinks exactly the opposite. I think that the Orthodox church. Anyway, the general idea is that Protestants are non-Catholics and non-Orthodox. Also, the Orthodox and Catholic churches are almost identical and that is why it is called a "schism" and not a division. Anyway, I think that the Orthodox Church is much closer to the original pathway set by Jesus Christ.

From Wikipedia:

The Eastern Orthodox Church is the second largest single Christian communion in the world. It is considered by its adherents to be the least changed from its ancient theological roots which stretch back to the beginnings of Christianity.

I'm acquainted with several Orthodox Christians who were chrismated into the Church as adults in large part because the results of their own research proved that the latter of the two sentences in the above Wikipedia quote is true. A few of them have since been ordained priests.
