Firstly hello Becky and welcome to the forum. Unfortuantely I am neither a mother or in the Limissol area so can not help you re your question. The posters here tend to be male (though not all), which is why I guess you have had little (constructive) response to your post :(

Secondly re Main sources' comments - Becky please do not think this kind of reply is typical of the posters here. Generally we are very polite and as helpful as we can be. To those confused by the posting 'baby mother' is a term used in the UK to refere to very young mothers (usualy under 16) - ie 'babies' that are mothers themselves - hence 'baby mother'. As to why main source made the post hid did, only he can enlighten us as to that. There is no indication of Becky's age and even if there was an indicaction that she was a 'baby mother', which there is not, I can still see no reason for the post.

Anyway Becky I hope that eventually you get a constructive and positive response to your post.

Welcome to the forum Becky - fraid I can't help either, though I'm hoping to relocate my family (inc 6 year old boy) to Cyprus some day. My father has just bought some land near Limassol (Kivides), so I'd be interested to hear what you think of the area. I quite liked it when I visited a few months ago.

Erolz, I'm afraid I have to put you right about the term "baby mother" - it's a term used by men to indicate the mother of their child, especially when they are not married or living together (i.e. when you can't say mother/partner/girlfriend to mean the same thing) - it implies a certain attitiude towards women, I guess, so not a particularly respectful term in the general sense. I doubt whether "Main_Source" understands any of this, "muppet" might be a word he knows better.
