My days may be numbered though as through frustration I made a direct appeal (in the form of further action, petition etc) to the business that was encroaching on the Turtle territories.

However, this weekend they have not only stopped their development, but have removed (nearly) all the materials that they had erected to expand their business into the turtle-sensitive area.

I am sure it is thanks to the Fisheries Department and through the Turtle conservationists, that real pressure was placed upon the business to rethink their expansion. I will contact them during office hours to thank them.

And if you are that business and are reading this ..... I want to thank you for actually carrying out the reversal ... No hard feelings and I will support you through word of mouth for doing the right thing in the end ..... as that is what matters Well done!

That is good news. I keep meaning to join the TurtleWatch team at this end of the island.................one day..........................

As a reward for getting me those numbers so quickly ... you and Webbo are invited for Supper and an evening of Turtle watching on "my beach" ... at a convenient time this turtle-egg laying season ...

...so you guys can't take up OP's offer. what a shame, because dialog is the key to end the impasse. venom is too easy to hang on to, like a warm blanket, it offers comfort, while we sleep. You should have the courage and the humility to accept such Grace with a reciprocal extension of the Humanity that it demonstrates, without presumptions, but with hope, in my opinion.
