Thanks guys , I wasted more than half a day , it was however an experience. I was asked how do I plead Guilty or not Guilty.
I replied with my head held high and with my nostrils in full action NOT GUILTY.
There followed a brief " cross examination " by the bench , I denied the charge and stuck to my story , it was a mere accident .The Traffic Warden was not in court to give evidence, had he attended I'm certain that the shit would have hit the fan !! and the case was dismissed. I was awarded the sum of £50.00 expenses !!!

Strangely enough Bill , I think the UK has the lowest of the low serving as Traffic wardens . As everyone knows most of them are fresh out of Africa , they are all on meagre bonus , the call it "productivity pay ",
and they are all as thick as two planks of wood. A couple of weeks back one of my drivers got clamped , I telephoned the relative office , gave this African woman the number of the vehicle etc and my debit card details. She asked for the address where the card is registered and I told her the road number and the road which is my business address , LONDON Road , could not beleive when asked in a thick African accent " how do you spell it " I replied again saying LONDON , you know as in the capital of England , and I went on saying you know London Paris New York !! She asked again so faced with an absolute imbecile I spelled London for her !!!
Oh do I detest the bastards that rip me off to the tune of average 3 tickets a week , that's £180 quid a week , no wonder I work 6 days a week !!
