Thanks guys , I wasted more than half a day , it was however an experience. I was asked how do I plead Guilty or not Guilty.
I replied with my head held high and with my nostrils in full action NOT GUILTY.
There followed a brief " cross examination " by the bench , I denied the charge and stuck to my story , it was a mere accident .The Traffic Warden was not in court to give evidence, had he attended I'm certain that the shit would have hit the fan !! and the case was dismissed. I was awarded the sum of £50.00 expenses !!!

I wish I could spend 2 months in any part of Cyprus , sadly I cant and can not even hope to do so as things are at the moment.

Im arriving with my wife tomorrow at Paphos , then on to Limassol to see the family , No baby yet , but the little granddaugther is over the moon , waiting to see what we bought for her !!
My wife's decision is that she will stay in Cyprus for as long as possible and I will fly back to fetch her when she is ready to come back .

ps.GR do be nice and respectful to your elders or else I shall seek you out in Nicosia and do to you what I did to that traffic warden !!! !!!

Well strangely enough there 3 magistrates in all including a lady.
No doubt my good looks and distinguished appearance convinced them that I'm no bullshiter !! I think they also got bored listening to me time and time again that Im almost 62 years of age and have never had any dealings with the police other than in carrying out my duties as a respectable member of the locality (Known to all as the Cypriot no nonsense chap )
I did also mention that I'm flying out to Sweet Sunny Cyprus and if the blonde magistrate was doing nothing she would be more than welcome to spend a few days at our appartment !!
