When I was in Cyprus last year I got an ID card which I am very proud to hold in my wallet and take with me everywhere I go. I used that to cross over the Ledra Palace crossing. It was recognised as a valid card. My undertsanding is that you either need that or a passport to cross over to the occupied area and vice a versa so does that mean that the trnc recognises the only legitimate state of Cyprus by allowing the people living in the occupied areas to cross over to the bright side?
Has the problem been solved?
Are we just been given time to assimilate?
