Trust, suspicion, and Stereotyping

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

My family's origins are my own business, Kikapu. And you have one hell of a nerve to say that I am 'morally corrupted'. I don't go around esposuing a view that its okay for Greeks to harass, expel, and kill Turks. My only 'crime' (in your view) is that I espouse partition as the only means to ensure peace between the communities. Really 'corruptible', isn't it, trying to say "lets keep them apart so that they don't kill each other'...?

Oh, and by the way, Kifeas, I am not Turkish. My ancestery has no Turkish blood. I just happen to think that the Turkish Cypriots never got a fair shake from their Greek Cypriot compatriots.... Yuo should be the one wearing the clown suit.

Why don't you just tell them that you're a Kiwi cum Californian... what's wrong with telling them that? :?

Yeah, right! You have made your "thorough, unbiased and scientific" PhD dissertation, and have “concluded” indeed that "the Turkish Cypriots never got a fair shake from their Greek Cypriot compatriots!" Yeah ...right! Clown!

Think and fair are mighty big words here kiwi...you think you can apply them when it comes to the Maoris?

You know the same people that you are still trying to assimilate to this very day...

And before you open your claptrap, the same goes with the aboriginals in Australia...

A question here for the kiwi become humanitarian...have these people in our backyard been treaded fairly before we go on a rampage around the globe thinking if others have been treaded fairly?...

And the other question is...How can anyone take your views seriously, when your own country and OZ were build on ETHINIC CLEANSING...You think the Maoris or the aboriginals would accept the Annan plan if it was presented to them?...and would you vote YES in a referendum granting all these rights?..A de facto partition in other words...a confederation...

You know, I find itr amusing in a way to debate with all of you. You all want to get back to the good old days of Greek hegemony, with all that entails. You may deny, debate, semanticise all you like, and you may pull up historical records to try and draw parallels, but it doesn't change the fact that there is a basic hatred of anything Turkish (and I'm refering to the Turkish Cypriots) within you, and that if the hard-liners like Grivas and Sampson had succeeded and Cyprus became a Greek province (Turk-free of course), you would - if you ever thought about it - relax on the beach at perhaps Kyrenia or Kokkina and say, "Well, that was then, and we're here, enjoying the good life".
If you think I'm being hard-headed with that thought, remember that when the break-up of Yugoslavia created the ethnic cleansings by Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovia, a lot of normal Serbs - moderate - didn't voice any real objection. It would have been the same with you.

And how loud is your voice against the ETHNIC CLEANSING committed by your community, may I ask...

From memory and I read this the anglos were using the Aboriginal people as target shooting in the 30's...What about the Maoris, kiwi come humanitarian...

Boomerang, firstly, this is irrelevant to the Cyprus issue, and analogizing Maoris and aboriginals to Cypriots is rather weak. Would that the Maoris and Native American Indians be offered a plan akin to "Annan's"! Sadly, they don't even get that much.

Secondly, how does it follow logically that Expat's views can't be taken seriously because he is affilitated with Australia and the U.S., but yours can?

Filitsa, kiwi potrays himself as a crusader of misjustice...the problem is, his crusade is very selective...while ignoring the appalled way we, yes we, persecuted and continue to persecute these people, Aborigals and Maoris...We well and trully committed genocide... Something kiwi will never and has never acknowledge...He gave us a short story in the past how he regards them...

What I am pointing out is that this humanitarian, kiwi, is 2 faced when it comes to humanitarian issues...and he should be the llast to preach whatever...

All he talks about is "ifs" in order to justify ETHNIC CLEANSING...

Boom Boom you are such entertaintainment to read...thankyou so much

A great analogy coming from a person such as yourself whom so proudly still lives on land and a nation who's laws and rules you choose to abide by...the nation whom you claim has ethnically cleansed it's aboriginal population.

Tell me, since you choose to make the comparisons, why the hell do you still live in Australia supporting these atrocities of these barbarous anglos in Australia since they are so representative of any claimed problems in Cyprus ?

Get the funk out of Australia you hyprocrit...you may as well live in the TRNC re gaidouri
