this is the mentality in both sides that have kept ledras closed.

Who is it to be then Cyp........Would YOU object if it was the TRNC...I bet you would......Just this one street has implications as well as showing good will...I hope that no one decides to take advantage of the situation thats all....

administer the street?? There are five active checkpoints and so far everyone is administering their side of these checkpoints...why should Ledra be different? There will be a checkpoint + neutral zone at the end of Ledra Street joining to Lokmacı on Turkish side...ROC will administer Ledra Street (as they have always done so) and Turkish side will administer Lokmacı & adjoining Arasta..

No one seems to have been able to answer the question. A while back they said that the whole street would come under "RoC" administration which would have meant a change in the ownership so I was confused.......So Are you saying that shoppers can shop up to a point and then they have to show their passports to carry on shopping on the other side...I still can't imagine it !!!
