Oracle , cant you not see that your views could be used by those whose agenda is the permanent division or annexation by Turkey of Cyprus as an example of "we cant live with these people " therefore we must have our own country recognised.
Would you honestly consider that your views are constructive to finding a peaceful solution , or are you perhaps of the opinion that your sharp intellect might influence Turkey to withdraw its troops ?? I doubt very much that your approach can be at all instrumental in building bridges so that our people can jointly seek a just solution.
You have seen me challenge the extremists regardless from which Cypriot community they come from. I will continue doing so and I shall exercise my judgement on events , acts or views if they are non Cypriot friendly and above all if they are ingredients for the division of Cypriots .
This coming Monday , I shall be visiting Cancer Tulip , something I do ever since a G/C known to most on this forum embezzled funds he received on behalf of Cancer Tulip.I was furious and made a promise to myself that I shall make good what this horrid individual did .
I shall be in my country , not some foreign nation but in my Cyprus. I shall meet with friends who know my views , and they know that I consider them to be my compatriots , we do not agree on everything but we can debate as friends and compatriots.
May I also say that in all my years of interacting with T/Cs I have NEVER
met one that I either despised , hated or detested . I have met many with differing views I have learned from their experiences and they from mine , I would happily live next door to them and would have no hesitation in calling them my brother Cypriots. This is how our fathers and grandparents saw each other before the ugly head of "motherland" nonsense put an end to our existence as T/Cs and G/Cs living peacefully together.
