The North of Cyprus is being colonised by Turks from anatolia whilest TC's have allready fled the country to flee from the poverty. I would also choose for that solution. Be part of Turkey........but don't complain you are isolated and try to blame it on others. The blame is allways on the ones that make certain well over thought decissions like you rather being part of Turkey.

So? we are just as much Turkish as we are Cypriot is what you state a threat?, if it is its water off a ducks back, we will go back to our roots and you will lose 37% of Cyprus forever.

Where do these roots extend ....

Forever is a very long time for you to be certain of anything VP. Remember, time does not stand still and chances will occur.!! But just to make sure that you can read the future, can you tell us with certainty what events will happen in Cyprus next week.?? You get that one right, and then I might go along with your "forever" predictions.!!

The staleamate will continue and both sides will just go about their daily lives.

The 37% has been lost for the last 34 years anyway. The only ones still trying to justify the occupation and the partition is the non GC's on this forum!!! Why don't you just look back at most of the posts on this forum. The GC's trying to convince everybody of the benefits of a united Cyprus and the TC's and Turks wanting their partition of the island. And I don't state anything......the only thing I do is take notice of the facts. All UN resolutions in place and that the pseudo state in the north is only recognised by Turkey! The RoC is recognised worldwide.....accept by Turkey. This will also stay like that for the coming decades to come if no solution has been found in the near future. Turkeys EU aspirations are also on the line here......Let's see were all this will get you to. You are or a Cypriot or a Cypriot........if you consider yourself Turkish you should't be on the island anyway :D Why don't you come up for YOUR country is the only question that remains.

Have you asked yourself why the GCs support a united Cyprus?is it because they love TCs? or is it the land and power? you would be very naive to think it is the former. Why do you think the TCs prefer a divided Cyprus, is it land or, mistrust, safety and self rule?

The current non recognition is not the end of the world its an inconvenience but we have survived prospered and lived peacefully for 34 years we can go a good many years to come without batting an eye lid. As for being Turkish or Cypriot we are both Turkish Cypriot and very confortable with that you appear to have more of an identity crisis and have to keep proving what you are, thats your problem not mine.

As per your previous post to where I was in 1963. The answer is this I am 39 years old now VP do your math and you see where I was. But I was around in 1974 and very close to it all. Infact I bet my bottom dollar that I was closer to every bomb that Turkey dropped than you were.

I don't expect you people to understand but can you at least for once be respectful.

I wish I could return to my land VP. It's been sold through a dodgy title deed. I can't return to my father's house. There's a displaced member of the northern community there who's been given another type of dodgy deed. I can't go and live in my father-law's house cos there's a settler from RoT there with another dubious deed.

.. and do you know the funny thing, my family left Cy between 1949 and 1952. We had nothing to do with the nonsenses of 58-60, or of 63-65 or of 74!

So thanks a lot for the advice, for the invitation to return but I think I'm f----d!

No, that's not true I should say I've been f....d!

my family was murdered for their land. that is my conclusion after so many years of waiting to know their where abouts. do you think that i'd feel safe to see these lands or my home? would that be a comfort for me to know that chances are i pose a threat to someone just because i am still alive? do you think the neighbours my family have had for over two hundred years would feel no fear to support me, to welcome me back, if what has been kept silent for so long was revealed. and yet we are all victims of the ones who would identify us as "Greeks" or "Turks", but who are neither because they sold their souls for that which they enjoy today.
