Courting Controversy ....

Postby Oracle » Fri Mar 14, 2008 6:24 pm

Well why can't we moan about each other?

Criticism can be constructive ....

Look how much improved I am, for having received so much ... :D

So Bubbles, read some non-fiction, open a dictionary, learn to write. Stop using so many emoticons.

Tess ... get out of the "TRNC", or at least lose it from your name, you sound like a branded possession .... admit you are guilty, otherwise insensitive, and you will be a better person for it.

GG ... get some fresh ideas, and don't fly off the handle so quickly.

Purdey, debate in more length, your short posts lack depth.

.... I'll see how this thread survives first, before I drop a few more controversial clangers ...

Admin ... I am all yours, admonish or allow some controversy to keep us hungry forumers alive.

I am fed up with moaning, and been critical. My posts lack depth as I believe a dozen words speak the same language as a hundred.Short is sweet, length is bragging...

i'm with Purdy. no sense in complaining, no one listens, and not much is gonna change. i predict most other forum members are still going to think poorly of you Oracle.

are you that unhappy with your life that it is all you can do is complain about stuff and put everyone else down?

On the whole, I am the one who complains about other members the least ... yet doing a quick comparative study, it is clear to see everyone jumps on the bandwagon to attack me, the easy target ....

However, I am not sensitive to criticism and value it as much as compliments (maybe more so, apart from the obvious moronic posts).

The forum allows me to "mix" with people I may not associate with in real life.... that is all!.

The few forumers I truly respect keep me going here ...

As for the rest, you are just the fillers ... 8)

I am allowing for people to feel free to say what they want to say.

The important point I am making is the acceptance of "Constructive Criticism" ... we can all do with a kick up the backside (not me though I have it daily  )

There are too many people here just bandwagoning without any ideas, and using blasted emoticons instead of reasoned arguments.

You sometimes make valid points ... but do not follow through with evidence.

A bold statement to say you are not sensitive to criticism,Phoenix. What does that make you,I wonder.
I know no one on this forum,I am unsure of some peoples agendas if they have any,but I would never presume to judge them on their written words on forum.
Regarding attacking you,you are provocative and can be insulting with some of your views, and yes in the past I have jumped on the bandwagon.
Maybe I am always destined to be one of lifes fillers, but I wish you no harm..

Zan .... you don't know how many relatives and friends there are in my (huge) village ....

Throughout the day, it's constant interruptions ... unlike in the UK where "appointments" were made before visiting .....

I'm quite often in the middle of a post when someone pops their head round the door (always open due to the great weather and sea-views)...

But I still have the laptop churning with work, whilst I idle in-between on the forum ...
