I think it was her real dad, they are saying she was unhappy at home. not 100% yet though, but it was def one of the family who hid her.

It makes you wonder what sort of place we live in today,. I am sure if we brought in hanging, this sort of thing would not happen. If anyone hurt or took my kids and they found the person i would kill them. I would do anything to make sure they would never hurt a young child again, even if i have to go to prison for a very long time.

Absolutely brilliant news. I honestly did not think that she would be found alive and very happy to be proven wrong. I hope she is really ok

Her parents must be so relieved :) :) What a nightmare for all of them. I just hope the press give them time alone - you know what they are like :x

It really brought tears to my eyes - amazing news!!

It doesn't happen very often when a child goes missing. My 2 were never let out on their own in the UK which we had many battles over, over cautious Mum. I feel safer in Cyprus tho if they're with friends.

Just been watching Sky news and Shannon is still in 'police care' Does not stipulate if her parents are with her. I do hope so, as I feel as though the poor girl needs her mother more than ever now. A 38 year old man has been arrested in connection with her abduction.

As a mother (parent) I know what you mean Niki mou. We used to ferry our children everywhere - much to their disgust! :roll:

Being in Cyprus has definitely let us let them have more freedom - though we still do the ferrying as alas the buses are not that good :(
