Don't want to start a rant fella.
Lived all over the world mate and there's better places. Your topic on the poison problem's a good example of thing's that could do with improvement.
It's not all negative here (have made some excellent local friends here etc.) just don't reckon it's as good as it could be.
If I had the money (4 million) I'd be out of here.
TBH I'd leave for considerably less ....
You been all over the world, you lucky thing. Ok if i gave you say £4 million today, where would you go, which is the best place to go, and why. You do not have to answer it just wondering where the best places are. I would love to go all over the world myself, maybe one day when i win the lotto
well, i have lived all over as well, so can i answer? i kind of agree with what JimB wrote. CY is nice, but i wouldn't want to live there. I love where i live now, which is a suburb of NYC. i love it for it's cultural diversity, and the change of seasons.
I would also like to live in New Mexico, maybe in the Sante Fe region, because the scenery is spectacular, and the residents are artistic and free thinking.
I would like to live in Alaska. Ketchikan to be exact. there is no place prettier or cleaner than Alaska. (and i think Marijuana is legal there!).
there are still alot of placees i would like to travel to and explore, but as of right now, those are the places i would like to live.
No one place Mark, but with 4 mil I could afford a place in each and go where the fancy took me
Favourite places include, South Africa - anywhere (golf, scuba diving, scenery), Australia - Sydney (people and buzz), NYC / San Fran - buzz and nightlife / restaurants, Canada / New Zealand (skiing and mountains / clean air).
Opinion is subjective, and with Cyprus, well ... I'm here working and I just feel that there's better, more memorable and more exciting places.
Love the mountain areas here but that's about it. The beaches are full of rubbish, restaurants average, bars generic, golf below par, too much building, too little infrastructure.
This place to me is a jack of all trades. One size fit's all type of place.
Just doesn't fit me that well and I'm looking forward to eventually moving on to someplace else.
