Yes there is sking,and a make shift resort with a ski lift.20 years ago the skiing was fantastic,now too many lunatics.

It is wonderful up there. Probably my favourite place in Cyprus. You are supposed to be able to see the Toros Mountains in Turkey from there, but I have never been able to. Not even when I put some money into a telescope mounted onto a stand and peered through that.
You come across quite a few TCs in Troodos nowadays.

Actually they're being nicely upgraded for next year. There's 3 ski slopes now.

Please ask them to take away some of the bigger boulders.Two years ago I went into orbit over Cyprus when I went over one.
I landed in one hell of a heap,much to the amusement of all around.

The idea of all communiteis of Cyprus being treated as equals is intersting. Whenever anyone mentions it you will hear the usual suspects reminding everyone that the Armenians, Maronites, Latins and Rom have sided with the GCs so they should gt no equal communal rights. This is a LIE, they did not side with the GCs, the British lumped them together and reserved an exclusive status for the TCs. Once a colonialist always a colonialist. The TC position is not pro mirotiy equality but pro Turkish exclusivity.

As for those that ask, the spheres on top of Troodos are the British radar domes and one of the National Guard.

Did they fight back? did they try to stop enosis? who are they with now? if they have objecitons why do they not voice their opinions? they are no different from the Pakistanis living in the UK and are exposed to racism and discrmiantion by the GC majority.
