Extending the T/C argument...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Its Lefke actually, and as a matter of fact YES we do have the best oranges i am yet to see being topped by any orange producing country, including Turkey.

There is nothing hidden about the fact that you TOOK ALL our rights and we had to fight to get them back, thats what people do fight for their rights, while others like you fight to take others peoples rights while crying for human rights, kind of self contradictory dont you think? Or is that another sly ancient Greek tradition

I thought Morphou was known as Güzelyurt, although you will often hear TCs refer to it as Omorfo.

That is correct Tim, many TC's specially the older ones still use Greek names for places, but im not from Guzelyurt/Morphou, im from Lefke which is 20 minutes West from Morphou.

I know, I have been there several times. It is odd to see the peak of Troodos in the background with the shape reversed from the way you see it on the Limassol side.

Actually it's a Turkish tradition; look at how the Kurds are treated by the Turks who at the same time complain about how they are treated in Germany. Turks scream of human rights violations of the Turkish minority in Greek Thrace when that Turkish minority is itself oppressing the pomak and roma minorities... Yes, definately a Turkish thing

Tim i have never seen beyond the Lefke border, that would be really interesting since i grew up looking at the Trodos. What are those things at the top of it, sphere shaped constructions, telescopes? I tried to make out with a telescope before but i couldnt, we have had many myths about them

Alesxiss, so i guess everyone just looks out for their own country regardless of the minorities needs, you do it, Germany does it, Greeks do it, and Turks do it, so whats the problem?

The idea of all communiteis of Cyprus being treated as equals is intersting. Whenever anyone mentions it you will hear the usual suspects reminding everyone that the Armenians, Maronites, Latins and Rom have sided with the GCs so they should gt no equal communal rights. This is a LIE, they did not side with the GCs, the British lumped them together and reserved an exclusive status for the TCs. Once a colonialist always a colonialist. The TC position is not pro mirotiy equality but pro Turkish exclusivity.

As for those that ask, the spheres on top of Troodos are the British radar domes and one of the National Guard.
