I know Purdey, the bashers and whiners are a small but vocal minority. Thankfully they keep to themselves in anachronistic places like the "British Club". and write off letters to the Athens News to complain about yet another problem with the locals.

When I worked at the AN the editor, a Canadian PhD, had no time for these letters but had to publish them on orders of the Greek publisher. He would read the text and then shout "what a bucket of horse piss" just to vent off some steam.

Well, it seems as though Aphrodite has been banned from the forum for sticking up for the Cypriots. The shoe does not fit if it is on the other foot. Good luck DT. You will be banned too.

Cypriots are not welcome on the CL forum. But we welcome them with open arms in our country. Not beig rude to the fellow Brits on this forum. There are good and bad in all races....but still...
