There is a saying in thenorth give a Gc enough rope and he will hang himself, you are well on the way.

I didn't know there was a collection going on VP......I have a few hundred metres I would like to donate to the GC rope foundation

i guess when you've hung one GC the taste for it stays forever. DId you keep the rope from 74 Zan?

I am joking and its more to do with political suicide than anything else, 99.9% of TCs do not want any harm to come to GCs can you claim the same?

Actually I'm the only one that can claim that, not you. In 95 if you watch the video of the Isaak beating there were 2 TC policemen beating a man on the ground and the rest were ordinary civilians.

You cant compare that one off incident with the general feeling. The whole situation was explosive just like 1974, the GCs were warned not to proceed as they would be put in danger, how do you know those people were TCs? and not settlers? bus loads were brought in anticipating just an incident and you guys fell into the trap, the warnings were in place yet you ignored them, very sad someone had to pay with his life. Looks like we are so stupid that only when someones death occurs we make excuses and blame the other side.

Aah the settlers....forgot about them.

SO you can gaurantee that no TC wants to harm a GC but cannot gaurantee what the settlers want to do to them?

DT the settlers feel no affliation to GCs like us the TCs we have a shared history and believe unlike you guys that you belong on this island, we could not live together but have been sucessful side by side for years. I am not saying there are no TC fanatics there are but that is not the general feeling and where ever you go in the world there are extreme views.

"whats the difference, each side im sure has treated the other as an animal at sometime.........take your pick...mmmmm i say lets go with animal, caged off from eachother..."

Good, lock yourself in 18 per cent of the island and enjoy your cage then.

...nothing is lost, yet. and things have to change.

tell me once, you think that my proposal is fair and the best suited to our needs, even if it will never see any light of day, beyond our prattle. i would like to know that i have a heart, and it is in the right place.

And with that mindset you expect a settlement! You are out of your mind. If 18 per cent of the population deserve 37 per cent of territory how much does the 82 per cent deserve? I know the answer I am going to get but the point is to inform the foreigners who come to this forum. So they can see the attitude.

How exactly did you arrive at that conclusion? When it comes to business astuteness, democracy, freedom, modernization, etc the GC way wins hands down so what exactly is your gripe? :?

Hey comical Al you have no problem living in OZ...How about we adopt the same system, where everyone is equal and eveyones rights are protected....

The Cypriots have no problem living and intermixing together in the UK...

Why then can't they have the same system in Cyprus...

The UK is my adopted home...Cyprus is my birthright and my right to protect my culture and my language.

Says someone who doesn't even speak Turkish...
