I am still a non believer there will be a lot of hot air but nothing will materialize as both sides want the process to fail.

VP, thats because your trying to make it fail, purposely. What if the GC's throw in a stupid clause also, by signing off to let go of their heritage and sign it away to the TC's only if,anyone to live in the north has to be a bisexual(and get tested once a month), would you go for it? Thats the equivilency of your demands.

The GCs have more reasons to makes the process fail as one more rejection of a UN brokered plan and it will be curtain for the "RoC" and hello recognized or at worse isolation free TRNC.

It won't go to that cause we're not that thick. (quite a lot but not that much)

The issue will be on who is the better side, who performs better or better yet who blinks first. If we've learnt something the past 4 years its that the image of each side coming out of negotiations is all the money.

Assuming we perform well during the negotiations and no solution is found i believe that we have another 10 years of isolation of the north and Talat screaming cause he's not allowed to watch a football match with Leeds again.

By that time everyone will just sit back and wait for Turkey to enter the EU, with whatever membership conditions are trailing behind her.

One such condition being discussed is not to allow free movement of Turkish workers within the EU. This is good for Turkey since this will bring more business's and factories into Turkey to take advantage of cheap young labour but it will also mean that the north of Cyprus can be overrun by GC's without any further influx of settlers. (north Cyprus being officially under Turkish management according to the ICJ)

The Cypriots have no problem living and intermixing together in the UK...

Why then can't they have the same system in Cyprus...

The answer is BOTH..........We are not falsely trying to disassociate ourselves from fact...That fact is that we have Turkish/Cypriot ancestry just like you have a Greek/Cypriot one.
