Big Al, no apology needed, I'm not saying there is no truth to what you say, and we're not picking at each other personally. We're being the way we're being because of our belief system about Cyprus. It's inbred. But for you to sacrifice my heritage for your unrealistic fears is unacceptable.
And this is why I act the way I act.

Growuptc's.....one thing i learnt a long long time ago and this forum has just reinforced it, is the fact that TC's and GC's genuinely, if they are being true to themselves and not playing political games, do not want to live together.
TC's want self rule, GC's want to rule the whole island, there is no such thing as a Cypriot culture, there is a TC culture and a GC culture, they are two separate things which do no mix well. We now have 2 leaders saying they want to unite the island.....i think they are bullshitting but hypothically speaking even if they do manage to unite the island it will only take a decade to have another Kosovo,bosnia,croatia type of situation with TCwanting independance....this is the plain and simple truth..... TC and GC cannot live together.

I believe the GC's and TC's can live with each other peacefully if their was no national crap flying anywhere from either country, and if Cyprus became naturally independent. Natural, meaning TC's belong here too with their rights. Your way you'll be flying Turks back and fourth till the north sinks into the ocean.

no, you dont belive they can live together if the truth be told, you just dont want to give the north of cyprus up to TC's, you still believe that GC should be running the whole of the island...thats the truth. Whether you or anyone else on this forum admit it or not.

Hey comical Al you have no problem living in OZ...How about we adopt the same system, where everyone is equal and eveyones rights are protected....

The Cypriots have no problem living and intermixing together in the UK...

Why then can't they have the same system in Cyprus...
