Which service provider do you use and are you happy with them.......I need to change my provider because I am not only suffering with intermittent speed problems but also I am more and more frequently being disconnected at inappropriate times (Not that any time you want to use the service and the thing goes down is appropriate but there you are). I am thinking of switching to Virgin...Any feedback from users????
I use Tesco at the moment but have no idea who they are eally signed up with so far...I will ask that question with my next complaint......

If you live in the inner London area I would avoid Orange .
It was great when it was Freeserve and then Wanadoo but as soon as Orange took over it's really gone down hill .
To be honest I haven't used it for the last 10 months as I've been in Cyprus and it may have improved since but I doubt it ~ their live box for wireless and phone is a joke ~ mine only transmitted around 14ft and Orange refused to replace it as it was apparently err working ok.
Do a Google on Orange and read the many complaints ~ I did when I started having problems and was shocked .
Two of my three sons have their internet access via sky and are very happy with the service .

Zan old boy - I have been with ukonline.net for the last, well, 10 years?, £14.99 for up to 2mb ( in practise I get 1.5 - long way from the exchange ). Reliable service. We have three or four machines running at the same time on this line without problem. As I understand it you have mac(s) ? These people have an excellent 24/7 customer service which includes a couple of mac men during office hours. They will charge you for a router though.
