ZEN, Zan, sounds like you so perhaps it was meant to be! I've been with them for over a year now, top rating with Which and Sunday Times. Transfer when I moved home was trouble free and the people at the other end of the phone know what they are talking about.

I'm with BT and have been for 10+ years - 2mb @ £15.99 per month.

Only issues I've had has been with my Belkin router - BT as an ISP have been fine and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I bought Belkin wireless usb for my pc...with one word...is "crap".

I have BT too and have no problem with Internet but the huge mistake of BT that drives me crazy is that they have this call centers and behind that phone are people who do not speak English that made me end up with a huge phone bill and a month without internet while I was trying to sort out my land line and my internet. And before saying anything about MY English it was not just me with this opinion but my landlord who is British and a British friend. :D

This is the email I got back from Tesco!!!! Any comments?

Thank you for your recent email.

If your broadband is dropping out at random times this is caused by it losing the DSL signal.

To obtain full signal of your broadband the recommended setup would be a modem/router plugged into the main BT socket downstairs, using no telephone extension leads which weakens a broadband signal.

Also if this does not improve your connection I would test it in the BT test socket which is located behind the faceplate of the main BT socket.

If I can be of any more help, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Kind regards,

Dafydd

Never heard that you have to plug your router downstairs to have better signal. :?:

By the way do you have a screw-driver or should we let this Dafydd know about that too?
