Despite all the rain, because of poor maintenance and minimal investment in renewals ... you would be surprised how regular hose pipe bans are in the UK. Also our annual water bill is over £700
Again, water saving measures were in place in France when we went last Summer ... even though we stayed in Normandy which is quite north.
Despite Cyprus' southerliness it is coping remarkably well with the lower rainfalls ....
