The view from our house across the green fields is spectacular and the wild flowers and blossom smell wonderful. I'd love to see it when there has been a lot of rain. :D

The UK does have beautiful green fields - in the spring/summer. The winter tends to be grey and muddy.

Both the countrysides are lovely but I can get out and enjoy the Cyprus views more because of the sunshine. 8)

Your green fields will not last unfortunately Niki mou - just wait until the sun really does start to shine :( Nothing but brown or bare fields everywhere! :( :( :(

Thought your view was going to be spoilt by the impending building work anyway :? :?

In one direction yes but the rest of the view is wonderful. I was here when it was brown so know what to expect. It's how green it is now that's surprised me. :D

I forgot wagtails!

They love to play (feed prolly) on our pool cover – they seem to know that the cats can’t get them there!

I forgot the hedghogs too – we have a garden full of them – drive Skilos wild!
And don't forget the multi-patterned lovely lizards ..... each one unique in design :D
I have loads of them living in my bougainvillea – but there do they go in the winter?

A Cyprus hedgehog I rescued earlier…

I love watching the wagtails going about their daily business - such sheer delight!! Do miss the little robins though - do not see enough of them in town!

Grump, have you named your rescued hedgehog yet?
