How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Castro: In whose interests,is it to keep a nation divided?

Postby Agios Amvrosios » Wed Apr 13, 2005 4:35 am

Is a country segregated along ethnic lines a genuine expression of "political equality" or a Denktashist remnant used to ensure harmony is never achieved?

How many serious incidents have occured since Denktash opened the gates of taksim? really? Besides the detention of a donkey called Chelidona...

True"political equality" will be achieved by TC, only in a unitary state with rights and freedoms for all Cypriots all over the island without discrimination.

"In whose interests," he asked, "is it to keep a nation divided, when each day thousands cross borders to their work-places without incident?"

Fidel Castro commenting on the referendum, on 24 April 2004.

General Chopra of India:

"At last a small nation has successfully challenged the so-called international community - in other words Germany and the Anglo-Saxon powers. This 'offer' involving two ethnic states ruling their own affairs - this was not a re-unification."

"The American 'deal' for Yugoslavia over Kosovo in 1999 was the complete occupation of Yugoslavia by NATO forces - and now America has its largest base in Kosovo. Yesterday's offer was for the complete demilitarization of all Cyprus - except for three NATO bases."

Did Castro comment on Cyprus? I knew he supported Arsenal for a reason (Bin Laden is also a fellow Gooner)
