We have a similar problem with the airlines that fly into & out of New Zealand,but the politicians,being as thick as 2 planks,won't do a thing about it.Flying domestically can be extremely expensive.My boss wanted to attend a funeral,& Air New Zealand wanted to charge him around NZ$1,000 one way to fly from Wellington to Auckland - a 1 hour flight.That is slightly more than a one way fare to Aussie.
