Try flying from Manchester it can work out more expensive.
Easter holidays (UK) Monarch £392.00 each no discount for children. Two weeks after Easter £106 each.
Cyprus Airways last week, for one week £90 return, and only 25% of the seats were occupied.

British Airways , the High ...Air robbers. Flights on the 20th March to Larnaca returning on March 26th have now increased to a staggering £717.00 , what a bunch of con artists !!
Cyprus airways for the same flight ONLY £438.00 with better aircraft and food as well as your personal TV !!!
I heard it on the grape vine that BA is now run by ex Community Support Officers , led by none other than Ken Bloody Livestock !!!!

I always fly Cyprus Airways, and I rarely feel the need to complain.
However, give Manchester some of the newer planes please. If you fly on a Wednesday you get a newish airbus with the rear seat tv's,wider seats, more space. At all other times we end up with the old fleet of planes, dated and a little worse for wear.
The North, South divide still exists in the UK.

It sounds like the European Commission needs to step in as far as airlines ripping off their customers goes. All airlines, including Easijet & Ryanair should be forced to disclose all the taxes that they're adding onto the actual cost of the airfare.

Does anyone agree with me on this?

Aidan.

Yes Aidan,I agree with you.
There is no level playing field on airfairs.I would also like to see the EU looking into to price increases during school holiday periods, prices can increase up to 150% for these periods.
Maybe this years drop in holidaying Brits may encourage another price war.

I agree wholeheartedly. You need more competion. Open up Tymbou/Ercan as well, you will see prices drop like a bomb. No pun intended ofcourse
