I agree with you boulio. I even expect to see Turkey and Greece united under a loose federation. Return of a certain number of Greek and Turkish refugees, political equality of two nations, reduction of military expenditures, making Istantinopoli the capital of Greek-Turkish federation would be excellent! :D

here you go brother:

Good news for Emine
Hurriyet

Greek Cypriot Health Minister Andreas Gavrilidis has said that the Greek side is prepared to help the case of 20 year old Kayseri leukemia patient Emine Ozan however they can. In addition, Gavrilidis has also said that Ozan's bone marrow transplant will not cost the expected $23,000, but only 2,500 Euro, and that the Greek's attached no importance to the question of money in this case whatsoever.

In answering questions posed by Hurriyet, Gavrilidis said that "We have newly learned of the Ozan case. These are not unsolvable problems. The solution is easy. Let them come to us, we will do what we can." Gavrilidis said further, "First we will make clear who Emine's possible donors are. They might be Turkish, they may be Greek-it is not yet clear. If the health of the donors makes the transplant immediately possible, it will happen right away. If everything goes well, this will all be done in a few days."

When Minister Gavrilidis was asked about the bureaucratic barriers to this case, he replied "At issue here is a person's health. Let's keep the question of helping people like these far away from the lights of the media. The Karaiskakion Institute and Istanbul University will work together on this question."

Who knows, cannedmoose... perhaps first they unite and give us a good incentive and example of uniting Cyprus. People are people so why shouldn't it be? You and I should get along so awfully.
:D

Let's listen to the great classic of Depeche Mode :D

PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE LYRICS

People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully
People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully

So we’re different colours
And we’re different creeds
And different people
Have different needs
It’s obvious you hate me
Though I’ve done nothing wrong
I’ve never even met you
So what could I have done
I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully
People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully
Help me understand
Help me understand

Now you’re punching
And you’re kicking
And you’re shouting at me
And I’m relying on your common decency
So far it hasn’t surfaced
But I’m sure it exists
It just takes a while to travel
From your head to your fist (head to your fists)
I can’t understand what makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully
People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully

I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
I can’t understand (people are people)
What makes a man (why should it be)
Hate another man
Help me understand...
