Is it that British people don't come here and wave British flags claiming a British territory?
Is it that Cypriot students study in Britain without political problems?
Is it that British tourists come to Cyprus and help the economy?
Is it that the British ex pat community live side by side with Cypriots without problems?
Is it that Cypriots are allowed to to live and work in Britain? or Vice Versa
Is it that many Cyp/Brit couples have married?

Excluding history, and all the tourist moaners and bitching Brits, do we really have a problem with nationalistic, violent, oppressive Brits in Cyprus?

Actually my friend, having been closely in touch with the devastation perpetrated by the British in many lands in recent times (particularly Libya where the remains of Sirte MUST be seen as a disgrace to humanity), I am compelled to suggest that the British are hated throughout the civilised world.

I would also add that I do not consider the UK to be anything of a 'Yardstick' worthy of comparison to 'Civilisation'

Really hate what the rebels did to Qaddafi in the end. Very graphic and deplorable, and the man deserved a fair trial at least.

But I am sure you would agree, that it is good to see the Libyans free and in charge of their own destiny after so many years.
