How many of us choose to be right even though they might lose something they want and how many choose to do the right thing and not have that??

:? :? :? :? :?

It would depend on if what you wanted was worth more than doing the right thing.

It depends on the situation, its not always clear cut and each situation would need to be analyses case by case.

What do you want to do?? Are you bold enought to do the wrong thing to get what you want???

You did not answer by the way, what do you usually do? Get what you want or do the right thing?

  No re, I said bold not BALD. It means big enough. ha ha, your english is still crap

What is your definition of the 'wrong thing'? If it was the million pounds on the roadside and if I didn't end up in prison yes! 8)

When I say wrong thing I mean the opposite of moral things or follow some rules. For example, with what you said, keeping the money knowing that is not yours is not moral, but you said you were going to keep it. How you could find out if those money belong to a poor guy or not? A poor wont have a million pounds or else he was not going to be poor so you think that those money might come from a rich guy so you keep the money. What if a guy who work for this rich person had to transfer the money and lost them etc etc...the moral thing is to hand those money to the police if you cannot find out who had those money at first place.

Those things might be from eating chocolate when you are on diet to having an affair when you are married to keep they money you found etc etc.

...and this is the key! You may think "sod it, I'll keep the money/have the affair" but the guilt would play on your mind and you would forever be unsettled about your decision.

I would put up with the guilt for a million tho! :D

Ok the reason I were asking...before you all nice people think I am about to have an affair....is that I have an interview for a job this week with my boss...as weird as that sound. I ve been working as a part timer and now I guess they want to offer me a permanent job. So my dilemma is do I hide the truth and take the job for few months until I manage to leave UK and earn more money or do I tell the truth with the chance of loose the opportunity of getting that job? So is not going to affect anyone as I said but what should I choose honesty or job?
