Nearly every thread in the "General Chat" section is anti-Cypriot ...

They may start off as pro-puppy or concerned-conservationist or whatever...

But the hidden agenda is anti-Cypriot.

You're right, this is cruelty to Cypriots. These people do not understand the Cypriots and therefore they are naturally responding in a negative way. We need to educate them on how the Cypriots think. You do not need to think like a Cypriot, merely understand how they think.

I don't think there is a hidden agenda,people genrally come right out and say what they think.I believe people tend to lump all in the same basket and forget there are those out there that are decent.
Yes the none Cypriots among us do not fully understand the Cypriot mentality,I believe not all Cypriots understand the ever changing mentality of their own people.
I know the vast majority of British do not understand our own mentality,or in this day and age don't want to know.That's why they up sticks and head for Cyprus.

My answer to this problem, is to use a bit of psychology OrPh. Show these Cyprohobes how much you love them and what a lovely person you are. I am sure they will respond in kind. Just try it, you will see it works. :wink:
