She played exactly the same game on me a few days ago.

She makes an abusive comment against the Cypriots as bait, and the rest is repeated with minor modifications to suit the victim.

The sad fact is that she is neither intelligent nor amusing nor worthy of notice otherwise, and has nothing to offer us ....

Unfortunately there are enough Brits who pity her enough to keep re-kindling her embers ....
