No not at all !! I had quite a few Cypriot friends over in Cyprus, one was a general builder/maintainance man.
In the end he would not accept contracts from Cypriots, because they would not pay the bill. They would have renovations to there houses, pools put in all sorts, but he could not get the money out of them. Not just 1 person but many. He said he would never do work for a Cypriot again. So it is not just the British who are wary .

Considering that the rest of the world hates the Americans and has recently started hating the British, what they'll be thinking is that they'd feel right at home in Cyprus
