Just read the article in Wikipedia containing the extract that M. posts at the start of this thread, " Cyprus Intercommunal Violence ". Imho, a concise and I think reasonably balanced account.

Does it mention the Akritas plan and how that was designed to destroy the constitution and the fact that Makarios was after ENOSIS!!!!!NO????? Ver balanced in deed

Well, if Ex-Lax Zon took the time off from regurgitating to read the article he'll find that it does make reference to Aktitas and does record the changing views of the Blessed Saint Makarios's views on enosis.

I'll say again a concise and pretty balanced account and where I suspect both sides of our little squabble have had an input.

I told you that GR wrote it and I would not take the time to read it but I have a better idea...How about real extracts from the UN report s/5950 that I promised......

Ye it's good. You can write your own things in and it get's validated, as long as there are books/journals and weblinks to support it your fine. It tells you on the top of the article might be inconsise. By far one of the easiest online encyclopedias. I use it all the time, it's great, especially for computing.

The way it works Sega is who ever has the biggest stamina gets to write what they want.....I saw a program on it in which a famous person read his own file on air......He disputed all that was written about him and found out the whole thing was a mystery to him...I can't remember who it was but there was also a politician that did the same.....I tried writing on there but gave up after months of changing the text and having it changed back. That is why GR was furious at Expatkiwi when he did not give up and let GR write his usual crap.....You can use it for trivial stuff but important things should be used with caution.......It is just a way for those guys who invented it to get rich...The hits are massive but as a definite encyclopedia it is a waste of time as the post by Miltiades shows.....
