Hi,

I have recently witnesed the Australian governments decision to say sorry to the Aboriginies.

It made me think about an apology by the Cypriot governments.If this unlikely event would happen,what do you think both the Greek and Turkish Cypriot government should appologise for?I think tha in any rewconciliation this is needed

TC-Having past government that did not negotiate
Creating a propaganda of hate
To the people on both sides who have lost land,loved ones and a culture of togerthness
To the TC and Gc who have lost friends on both sides
The fact that the situation has meant that there is much military on the Island ( Although Talat would be slaughtered for this

Any ideas suggestions for either side ?

Australia has said sorry,but that is all.If they really meant they were sorry they would return all their lands also.The USA has the same approach with their native Americans.Cyprus,hell will freeze over first..
