Is animal cruelty in Cyprus the norm.

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

I think it rather sad, that what is coming through in this thread, is Man's hatred for his fellow Man, hiding behind a facade of false sympathy for his fellow beasts ....

And why may I ask are you posting these images , are you perhaps trying to tell me that cruelty to animals is hideous and I should reform ??
May I be rude to you once again , and maybe you may have the brain to search out my first response on this thread. I'm well known on this forum as a man who doesn't tolerate fools easily , especially one so blatantly stupid as you , whip my arse you Plonker , you have to go round the block a few more times Tart !! There is always one to spoil a good bottle of wine , at least is empty now.
Be a good girl now and go study a little on Miltiades , then come back and apologise !

I was referring to pisces and Beverly 10 ... sorry GG, it's not like me to avoid being direct. :)

You have a track record of sympathy .... the overriding emotions coming from these people is not the pain they feign to feel ...

Oracle what a delight..was expecting you a little sooner :D
My darling, there is nothing false about me(maybe i had better look at myself again)i think not..

If my fellow beasts could talk, they would tell you they have feelings and that they need love and protection, seems to me certain weak people who hide behind there computers, who think they are smart are actually spineless when it comes down to reality.

I believe in right and wrong,no place in my heart for(HATRED)

GorillaGal..my apologies for being a little hypocritical..but damn it`s hard.

Remember: attitude breeds attitude

no need to apoligize to me Pisces. i misunderstood oracle's comment, did not understand it was menat for you. i thought it was more generalized.
hey, in a way, i am a bit hypocritical. i love my pets, i love animals, and believe me, i feel guilty when i eat meat. i wish i could be a vegetarian. i really do. and i admit to owning leather shoes or bags.... but that is cow leather, and we eat the cow, nothing goes to waste.
i try to buy products that do not animal test, and i only buy free-range eggs, even though they are twice the price of regular eggs. i thank the chickens every time i crack an egg... that's some job they have! i sure as hell wouldn't want to pop one of those suckers out of me everyday.

Pisces... I find your pasting photographs of suffering animals disgusting and beyond acceptability ..... and hence I doubt you possess the sensitivity inherent when dealing with such unfortunates.

If under discussion was the topic child pornography ... do you think it appropriate for a poster to then present us with pictures ...

A resounding NO ... I hope.

Same sentiment. We all know what suffering animals look like.
A link to a charity would have been more suggestive of a sympathetic nature.

Unless you enjoy looking at these graphic pictures ...

But please do not paste without warning! :!:

Some of us have minds and natures that take on the suffering of others as though it were our own ... it takes us a long time to resume some degree of composure.

Maybe posts like these may help the dog and cat shelters and alike.
I would be interested to hear from June and for her to maybe list items and help she needs in the future.

Purdy,

What we need in the shelters here in Cyprus is help from the Cypriots themselves instead of the continuing inane criticism of foreigners in Cyprus doing wonderful welfare work for animal rescue.
COME ON, THERE MUST BE SOME CYPRIOTS OUT THERE WHO ARE ABLE TO HELP SHOVEL SHIT AND TAKE DOGS OUT FOR WALKS

There are many Cypriots who take their dogs out walkies , and there are many Cypriots who are equally revolted by the ignorant treatment of animals by a large section of the Cyprus people. Animal welfare has improved lately thanks mainly to the Brits , and I don't mean the Paki or Afghan or Asian Brits !!!!

Miltaides,

I'm not going down that road but I wouldn't disagree with you!
