Typical Cypriot..now i understand why we have a problem with animal cruelty on this island..

Sadly,animal cruelty is a world wide problem.All meditteranean countries are the same as are all African and asian countries.Wherever you go in underdeveloped countries you see animals in the most appalling state of neglect.I spent 7 years working in Morrocco and the state of the beasts of burden was sickening.Trying to tell them that their horses,donkeys,asses etc would last longer if they looked after them fell on deaf ears!The chinese eat their dogs and cats, so what is worse? In the UK we have afair amount of cruelty to animals,so to say all Cypriots neglect their animals is not only untru but unfair.They certainly need to be prosecuted for real cruelty as They in the UK are when caught but poison seems to only happen to the Ex pats animals not the noisy non stop barking Cypriot ones!
