What is attractive is the untapped areas of the North, easy movement to Turkey, and the finest tourist areas, underused and ripe for exploiting.
Why do I get the feeling, that you see a solution only as a two separate states, as in two separate countries. If a settlement is not ONE Cyprus, than where is the settlement that everyone wants. If it's ONE Cyprus, then EU and others will be trading with whole of Cyprus and not just "North or South" Cyprus. If one benefits, we will all benefit, and if one loses, we will all lose.
