Why? Would you rather have someone else as TRNC President? How about Serdar Denktas?

He;s asking a question. Your defensiveness betrays your doubts in what you support.

If you don;t know the answer step aside and let someone that knows answer.

I dont think much will change - Turkey is still the problem. Turkey wants to have troops on the island, a separate state, a racist cap on the amount of Greeks living in the north, a very limited amount of right of return for refugees (infact they refuse to call them refugees).

Papadopolous wasnt the problem - TURKEY IS

In fact Turkey by some counter intuitive logic is our saviour. In our Humanity, we must find perfection, because nothing else can Turkey not refuse. If we percieve, indeed, that Turkey needs to change, we must look into ourselves to find the resolution that demonstrates acts which Turkey can emulate. Una Fatsa, Una Ratsa, it is said and I suggest that in our behavioral aspects "Greeks" and "Turks" are the same.

Turkey will make no compomise on her security either, but Turkey is a member of NATO and Cyprus the EU; there must be something in that.
