Do you really think that by replacing a couple of words in my sentenses you can win this argument???
The question i pose to you still remains....... for centuires the two communities lived together in harmony until the GC's decided on enosis, started a war and lost. Do you believe that every nation in history that has lost a war is entitled to ask for land back and if so how far back in history do we go??

Which centuries did the GCs live in harmony with the TCs?

the people, this island's dwellers have been given an opportunity to live in freedom as stewards of its great Heritage.

neither "Turks" or "Greeks" can claim their supremacy in this context, and at most they can attain self representation as persons bicommunally, in this context.

Oracle, don't worry about the openly racist Aussie scumbag called 'Big Al',as he is a typical scummy Turk like Eric Dayi is! 'Big Al' has one thing in common with the Pope of Rome - being a major league wanker!

Oracle, stop trying to avoid the question please and just answer it.

You're a piece of sh1t, at no point did i attack you personally but you have shown that when confronted with some home truths you turn to calling people names. As for australia, you are completeley 100% correct, our record against aborigines is poor and thats why our prime minister apologised a couple of weeks ago.
Turkey's actions have been in defence of its people you prick, whereas Britians has been for eceomic gain.

Check the RoC's own Ministry of Information website - it quite clearly says :

...... four centuries of peaceful coexistence in mixed villages, towns and places of work.........

Four centuries must be referring to 1400's onwards I'd guess

Big Al, welcome to the forum.

If you hang around long enough you'll get used to the views of some of the more common posters here. Some you can debate with, others its best to ignore. You'll know who is who soon enough.

Big Al ... you are making false statements and then basing a question on those false premises, asking me to accept your statement as valid in order to answer a question which then has no foundation .....

You're choosing to forget the first invasion because that is too similar to the British analogy.

And yet you say the GCs and TCs lived in harmony between the two Invasions  when during all that time the GCs were no more than slaves without rights in their own country under the Turks.

It's akin to saying the "negro slaves" were happy to be chained up and abused, because they were powerless to fight for their rights, for centuries.

As soon as those slaves fought back for some rights, we saw disharmony.

Oracle your jibber jabber and backtracking is almost comical . Ok so you wont answer my question. Your opposition to the statement that TC and Gc's lived in harmony is contrary to what most GC's say ie: we used to live together peacefully until turkey invaded. It appears that you change you veiws to suit your argument.
Anyways, lets assume what you are saying is correct, that they didnt live in harmony and they cant, what makes you think a reunified Cyprus under GC's governance will create harmony in Cyprus?
