I think you have made a very bold statement there mate, in the thread dealing with the Tukish troops in north Iraq, you brought up the subject of "Wine" and the whole debate went in that direction.
I opened the Australian wine topic and reversed the subject in the same way as you did. So you can do that but others cant then.
Also, are you saying that the Yanks are not slaughtering people in the south of Iraq?, I thought there was some kind of war going on down there in which thousands of people have died,perhaps I am wrong, maybe you know better.

In Miltiades defense (I hope he doesn't mind): He merely mentioned wine in passing. It wasn't the subject of his post. I'm the one who took it in another direction when I asked him about the Shiraz. I take full responsibility.

No no no Filitsa, its not your fault at all. The fault lies with me. I made the effort to meet a true Cypriot Koumbare and took him a bottle of red instead of a Tekirdagh. I take full reponsibility.

I agree , I should not have allowed my self to explode as I did , and I was quite rude to Stout , I have apologised and do hope we can restart this thread on Australian wines .No politics please just bottles and more bottles of wine , I have had two tonight and feel very sleepy , goodnight all from the miserable old sod !
