I did not fully appreciate the following proverb. But now that I have decided it is fruitless to expend mental energy to see things from another's point of view ... the Golden Rule of Confucius now makes more sense:

Golden Rule of Confucius:
"What one does not wish for oneself, one ought not to do to anyone else; what one recognises as desirable for oneself, one ought to be willing to grant to others."

My take is this: Forget trying to see the other side ... just think about how you would feel should this be done to you ... and go with that.

Simple .... effortless!

it is the you making all this stupid troubles in the forum and trying to direct the people in your directions and admin takes your advise and blocks the treads or tells others where they can post their treads . they never takes any notices for your posts and you are excepting from us not to do stupid things agains the rules of the forum . Laws are for everybody. As long as you don't stop acting like civilise way we will response at same level .

Failing to notice seems to be a common affliction with some posters

Words are the tools we use, since body language is unavailable to us on the forum ... if they were used as part of our conveyance of a message ... I have no problem with that.

No apology is necessary.

If we were face to face and your body language conveyed to me something of the disgust you felt ... how could you then take that signal back ... You could not!

That is fine. I respect your right to convey whatever sentiments you wish ... just be big enough to accept any back.

We are here, exchanging words in relative free-flow ... if all we did was apologise or agree in order to avoid realism ... I would not be here.

Besides I did not directly call you a "senile old fool" ..... it was a general comment to the supporters of "you-know-what" (daren't use the acronym as it seems to be like an alarm bell that gets halil posting ).
