You seem to know a lot from the history of Cyprus. Who were these two journalists and what was going on in 1962 (before the 63-64 stories) that they had to be murdered? I have never read any details about them.

AFRIKA (26/05/02) under banner headlines "Like Kavazoglu" reports in its front page that the National People's Movement (NPM) has as its targets now Sener Levent, Ali Osman, Umit Inatci , Evren Maner, Ibrahim Aziz and Nese Yasin.
"NPM is comparing our friends with Dervis Kavazoglu, Ayhan Hikmet and Ahmet Gurkan", the paper reports. They also spread words that "they cooperate with the Greek Cypriot Intelligence Services", they are traitors and that a new conspiracy is being prepared. As it is known, Kavazoglu was murdered in 1965, Ayhan Hikmet and Ahmet Gurkan in 1962, writes the paper.

NPM is encouraging the attacks against our newspaper as well as our journalists and they make preparations for envisaged pessimistic scenarios, where everybody's voice will keep quiet. Our people follow this development closely and wonder how far this dangerous escalation will extend, concludes AFRIKA.

I fed up repeating the same things by replying the same propaganda psot of the same persons.

I have never denied the existence of fascists in TC community and in TMT. I have never denied the crimes they comitted towards some left-wing TCs. I have always tried to share my knowledge, opinions and point of view about the other side of the medallion for the actions of both communities.

Among the TC community there were fascists, there are fascists and most probably there will always be some fascist groups and individuals. These fascist groups and individuals will always commit crimes or attempt to towards the groups and individuals they don't like.

Fascists are everywhere. Among football fanatics, musicians, government cadres, real estate sector, teachers, police, army etc etc...

Similar fascist groups exist in South, turkey, Greece... all around the world. People, trying to overgeneralize, exegerrate and twist the facts for propaganda purposes make me sick.

You can't find just a single post by ultra-partisans such as Pantelis, mikkie, boulio, Agios, Kifeas, MicAtCyp, Thrillo etc. critisizing or questioning the criminal acts of EOKA, GC National Front, illegal status of National guard, Tassos, murder of leftists, Yorgacis, Mishaulides, Akritas Plan, Greek Orthodox Church, Amnesty for EOKA-B etc. When it comes to critisizing and questioning TMT, Turkish army, Clerides, Anastasiades, Denktash, Eroglu etc. They rush to paint a propaganda picture for self-satisfaction.

Insan has a point here though. Many TCs on this forum has no problem admitting the murders committed by TMT but hardly any GC talks about murders committed by EOKA. Everytime we talk about EOKA, it's comes to their being freedom fighters and EOKA-B being traitors and that's it. Let's establish what TMT and EOKA are. I want to hear from GC forum members what they think about EOKA.

Ok, they paved the road for partition but do you consider EOKA a terrorist organization as some TCs admit that TMT was a terrorist organization?

About EOKA not existing anymore...is it true that this year has been declared "EOKA year" and the families of former EOKA members are given award or something? I remember reading this somewhere and I wanted to confirm.
