Cheshire Cat,
He would be more than welcome as long as he spends an hour or two shoveling s..t and maybe take a dog or two for walkies.
We would even give him a FREE cup of coffee just to show that we foreigners don't mind that "big hair" of his! I am right aren't I? He is the one with the magnificent hair? I'm not at all into politics so please forgive me if I have the wrong guy :D

A few hundred posters along the sea front might get you noticed..

Purdy,

I'm sure i'm detecting a glimmer of you being a nice guy!
Carry on and thanks for the suggestion but we are constantly in touch with the EU who seem to do nothing much about animal welfare and regard it as an internal matter for each member state.

They are registered as a Charity Reg No 1721, And are associated with the RSPCA and WSPA

They only recieve a paultry €900 per year from the government, the rest is down to donations from the public.

as Bucksboy pointed out, and as i did as well, early on in this thread, i find it appauling that not one cypriot can find one day a week when they could donate a few hours to a pet shelter to help them out.
the shelter i visited was all british and russian volunteers. and it seems like the only comments i read on this forum about the russians is that they are all working in the caberets and prostitution buisness. this is just an observation.....
also, according to this forum, the cypriots take care of thier own, so there seems very little need for orphangaes or, i assume, old folks homes.
makes me wonder if cypriots do any volunteer work at all. or where they would do it? PLEASE DO TELL CYPRIOTS! Where DO you volunteer?
ok, so your lives are too busy at the beach and with your families to volunteer....
i believe the Bucksboy has listed the info to donate money to the PAWS pet shelter, and this is the Limassol link to JuneMichael's shelter: http://www.cypruscatrescue.co.uk/
please contact them, or the PAWS shelter, and donate today. money or time, it's all good.
